The panel: where everything is set
The command list lives in the documentation. This page covers the rest: what you can set on a command and how to edit AutoMod terms.
Where things live
- Dashboard — the channel log and the channels you have access to.
- Channel settings — the gear in the command editor. Command properties, aliases and AutoMod terms are here.
- Statistics — a person's card: punishments, badges and recent messages.
Command properties
Every command — yours or built in — has these settings:
| Who may use it | Eight access levels, from an ordinary viewer to a moderator. Who belongs to which category, and where the cooldown applies, is in the two tables below. |
| Cooldown | Shared by the channel: one person calls it, everybody waits. |
| Per-viewer cooldown | Counted separately for each viewer. Both cooldowns must pass. |
| When it works | Always, live only, or offline only. A command held back this way spends no cooldown. |
| How it answers | As a reply to the message, or as a plain line in chat. |
| Auto-repeat | Every N seconds the bot posts the command itself. |
| …and after N messages | The second condition for auto-repeat: time AND chat activity. Zero means do not check activity. |
| Aliases | Other names for the same command, comma separated. |
Who is who in chat
The bot reads the category from the badges on the message itself — the same way on Twitch and on Kick. So a VIP whose badge was taken away stops being one with the next message, not some time later.
| Moderator | The moderator badge. The channel owner counts as a moderator too, even though their badge is a different one. |
| VIP | The VIP badge. A VIP is NOT a moderator and NOT a subscriber: the categories are not a ladder, and the «VIPs + mods» level does not let a subscriber in. |
| Subscriber | The subscriber badge. On Twitch founders count here as well. |
| Viewer | Everybody else. |
Access levels and the cooldown
On the left is what the settings window shows, on the right is what it means. The cooldown is shared by the channel: one person calls the command, everybody waits.
| Mods | Moderators only, no cooldown |
| Mods + subs | Moderators without cooldown, subscribers with one |
| Everyone | Everyone with cooldown, moderators without |
| Everyone (cd) | Everyone with cooldown, moderators included |
| Mods (cd) | Moderators only, with cooldown |
| Subs + mods | Subscribers and moderators, with cooldown |
| VIPs + mods | VIPs and moderators, with cooldown |
| VIPs + subs + mods | VIPs, subscribers and moderators, with cooldown |
The answer text itself — substitutions, conditions, random picks — has its own article: the command engine.
AutoMod terms
The channel's list of blocked words and phrases on Twitch. Twitch does not let a message containing one of them into chat at all — before the bot sees it, and before the antispam runs.
- A «*» stands for any characters: «spam*» also catches «spammer». Twitch takes no more than two per term.
A person's card and the log
In the statistics, clicking a name opens a card: punishments, badges and recent messages. The tabs at the top switch platform — the same name on Twitch and on Kick are two different histories.
Everything done through the panel lands in the channel log with a name and a time. A punishment handed out from the widget can be undone from there.
